Permament Kaiako
Due to one of our amazing kaiako relocating to the South Island and another retiring, we have the amazing opportunity to welcome two new qualified kaiako into our team. We are excited to use this opportunity to hire an additional qualified and registered kaiako to become a 100% qualified centre.
The vacancies we have are:
Four days a week working with Over Twos
Five days a week working with Under Twos
We may be a bit biased but we think our centre is pretty special, and we’re sure you will too!

What we need from you:
Qualified and registered (provisional and primary trained okay) kaiako
Passionate about the children we educate and care for and a love of teaching
A philosophy centered around respectful practices with tamariki, colleagues and whānau
A strong belief in child-led learning and allowing tamariki to develop and learn at their own pace
Flexibility and an enthusiastic can-do attitude
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to being reflective in your practice and willingness to upskill yourself
Previous experience with, and understanding of, learning, assessment, and internal evaluation (experienced teachers)
Commitment to using, and increasing knowledge of, te reo ngā tikanga Māori

Relief Kaiako
